Our Mission
As the claims administrator for multiple self-funded group arrangements, Stirling Benefits is now a 90 Degree Benefits company. We are dedicated to exceeding customer expecations by becoming the recognized experts in providing administrative services, innovative managed care programs and customized benefit solutions for employers who self-fund their health benefit plans.
A National Presence
Stirling Benefits was founded in 1973 in New Canaan, CT. We specialize in health plan design, product integration and claims administration for companies of all sizes, in both single and multiple locations.
In June 2020, Stirling Benefits joined the growing national network of TPA’s, 90 Degree Benefits. Although operating independently, 90 Degree Benefits is a part of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama family, which gives Stirling Benefits a much broader national presence and access to tools and resources not previously available.
Our Experience
Stirling Benefits has sales and services offices in Milford and Orange CT.
The management team has more than 40 years of benefits experience and is an active participant in the Society of Professional Benefit Administrators, the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and CT business organizations.

While fully insured plans often make it difficult to identify the true cost of care, Stirling Benefits plans are a testament to cost transparency.
Urgency – When it comes to employee health care, everyone is impacted, including employers, employees and dependents as well as providers and our broker partners. We recognize the magnitude and importance of our tasks and work hard to accomplish them quickly.
